We have all watched the night sky and marveled as twinkling stars slowly come into view. If you live in an area without a lot of city lights, the night sky may become filled with stars. Even if you live where the city lights are bright, you will find a star in the sky. The wonderful little surprises our child brings to us, the amazing things they say, and the wonderful way they make sense of the world, are very much like twinkling stars, coming into view. And just like those stars, which are there every night, these miraculous moments never disappear. This verse reminds us of the natural wonder of our child’s expression and growth. By reciting the verse, we can attune ourselves to our child -- the wonderful star that came out this very day -- and marvel over him in the night sky of our mind.
