Traveling Home At The End Of The Day

When the day is done and we are on our way home, our thoughts might focus on the day’s events and matters that still may be pressing.  We can use the travel time as an opportunity to think of our family and mindfully open to our child.  Take a deep breath.  At that very moment our child is finishing up her day and soon we will be together. This is a nice opportunity to visualize our child.  What is she doing?  Is she thinking of us?  Does she imagine that we are thinking of her?  If, when we arrive home, we are able to be with our child, our reconnecting will be especially powerful.
