Listening To Your Child Tell About Their Day

One of the things I look forward to every day is coming home and hearing all about my daughter's day.  The way she describes events and how certain friends behave is enlightening in a way that can only be from a child's new and emerging perspective.  I listen with genuine interest and ask many questions in a way that helps me to better see events as they happen through her eyes.  Summer is even more exciting with stories about camp and the demonstrations of the new dances she's learned that day and continues to perfect day-by-day.
