Nourish, Soothe, a Lullabye

Rock a Bye, Rock a Bye, Time Goes By

Outgrows the Need, But Still Needs Me

Weaning Your Child

My daugher weaned just two weeks ago; I did not know our last time would be the last.  As I think back to the day and what my beautiful child looked like, I remember :).  Many mothers wonder whether their baby will ever wean and it is important to remember they will. The nursing relationship is such a short time in comparison to a lifetime.  It is a special time to enjoy.  And, for me, it is important to substitute cuddles and hugs when they have outgrown the need. (That does go on for a lifetime, I think!)
