Driving Your Child to School

The morning ritual of taking your child to school can be a rushed and hectic one.  But this time of day presents a wonderful opportunity.  Soon we will drop our child off.  The verse reminds us of how special it is to spend time together going to school.  We are together laughing, perhaps crying.  And sometimes, our child sits quietly as we choose to listen to the radio, to music, or when we speak on the cell phone, barely aware they are even there.  As we glance at the rearview mirror, we think we see our child, but we are not really looking at him.  At other times we may look directly at our child and not see him at all.  When we truly see our child, we feel the awesomeness of the moment.
