This verse is one we can share with our child on those occasions we wake up together. Say it in the presence of your child, and one day she may join in with you. That is a wonderful experience. It can also serve as a natural place to begin a discussion of what the day has in store for us; the things to which we are looking forward and to which we may be fearful. Most importantly, it provides an opportunity to share a part of ourselves. If we take the time to open up and share what our day has in store, we include our children more deeply into our lives.
